Looking at the entire spec sheet, we think the HTC Desire 310 is no match to the Motorola Moto G. The Moto G beats the HTC Desire 310 with respect to major hardware factors.
It has a superior display (IPS HD display) and a better screen protection (Gorilla Glass).
It features a better chipset (Snapdragon) with a powerful GPU (Adreno).
It sports a flash along with the rear camera and a better front camera for selfies (1.3MP).

There are some areas where the HTC Desire 310 could be considered marginally better.
You can extend the internal storage to 32 GB using a microSD card.
It sports the HTC Sense UI.
It is priced almost Rs 2,500 lower than the Moto G.

The HTC Sense UI and the price difference could be taken into consideration. However, these few differences are not enough to keep up the competition. The Motorola Moto G has USB OTG enabled, which can be used to expand the internal storage by simply plugging in a USB pen drive.

On the last note, the display quality and the overall performance will finally matter. The Motorola Moto G has a better display and a superior graphics processor, which can the boost performance to a higher level as compared to the HTC Desire 310. We are waiting for the HTC Desire 310 to show up in our office, after which we will update this article with real-world performance test results. These numbers will speak the exact truth. Until then, place your comments below with respect to the performance and experience if you already have the handset(s) or if you know for sure how the respective hardware on the two handsets can perform.
